Enjoy the 68th annual Mattituck Lions Club Strawberry Festival over Father’s Day weekend from Wednesday, June 14 through Sunday, June 18.
The event will feature strawberry shortcakes, rides, fireworks, food, a talent show, live entertainment, business exhibits, arts and crafts vendors and more.
Wednesday night will feature the annual hulling night, a time-honored tradition that brings the community together in an opportunity for families and friends to gather under the big tent to hull the berries that will be used for the weekend’s festivities.
On Thursday night, guests enjoy “North Fork’s Got Talent,” the festival’s second annual talent show. Friday night will showcase “That Motown Band.” Sunday’s entertainment includes Aqua Cherry, the crowning of the strawberry queen at 4 p.m. the strawberry shortcake eating contest and music by the Fever Band. Sunday features entertainment from animal handler Nature Nick and family entertainer Jester Jim.
