Meet the Beekeeper at Golden Acres Farm

Golden Acres Organic Farm invites the public to ‘Meet the Beekeeper’ on June 26, 2025. The event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m., offering a unique opportunity to learn about the fascinating world of bees and honey-making from Master Beekeeper Chris Kelly.

Attendees will take a guided walk to the hives, viewing the bees in action from a safe distance. Those who participated in the farm’s hive painting party will get to see their beautifully decorated boxes installed and buzzing with life.

This is a chance to discover where your local honey truly comes from and gain a deeper appreciation for the art and science of beekeeping. The event is not free, with a cost of $15 per person. This fee supports the ongoing operations of the farm and its educational programs.
