The Riverhead Combined Veterans Committee will hold its annual Memorial Day ceremonies and parade on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26.
The Memorial Day parade will step off on Osborn Avenue at Pulaski Street at 9 a.m. and proceed south on Osborn Avenue to the World War I monument on the corner of Court and West Main streets, where ceremonies will be held on the lawn.
The parade will continue east on Main Street to East Avenue, north to St. John’s Cemetery, and then north on Roanoke Avenue to Pulaski Street for a stop at Riverhead Cemetery en route to its final destination at the War Memorial on the lawn of the Pulaski Street School.
The ceremonies and parade take place rain or shine.
