Suffolk is set to welcome back MJ The Illusion: Re-Living The King of Pop for two performances on Friday, Jan. 9 and Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026. Both shows will start at 8 p.m. This unique music concert will take you on a journey through the music, performances, and visuals of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. You’ll experience the magic of Michael Jackson’s music, from his breakthrough album ‘Off the Wall’ to timeless hits like ‘Thriller’, ‘Smooth Criminal’ and ‘Billie Jean’.
The show features Michael Knight, a tribute artist who sought out Michael Jackson’s backup dancer and choreographer for Cirque du Soleil’s Michael Jackson IMMORTAL, Travis Payne, to help understand and recreate MJ’s dance moves. Knight also received vocal training from Jackson’s long-time vocal coach, Seth Riggs. Knight has performed hundreds of shows in performing arts centers, casinos, fairs, festivals and private events worldwide, even performing to an audience of 60,000 people at the legendary Rose Bowl in 2018.
Tickets range from $49 to $79, plus applicable fees, and can be purchased online at TheSuffolk.org.
