Movie matinee Friday: “The Patriot”

Riverhead Free Library will screen “The Patriot,” starring Mel Gibson as Benjamin Martin, a man drawn into the American Revolution when the British threaten his family’s farm. The film follows Martin and his son, Gabriel, as they confront the redcoats and the escalating conflict.

Concession-style snacks will be available. No registration is required.
