Riverhead Free Library will host a movie matinee Friday screening of “Wicked for Good.”
The film follows Elphaba, now demonized as the Wicked Witch of the West, as she lives in exile in the Ozian forest while continuing her fight for the freedom of Oz’s silenced animals and trying to expose what she knows about the wizard. Glinda has become the public symbol of goodness in Oz, living in Emerald City and navigating fame, politics and her separation from Elphaba. As tensions rise and an angry mob turns against the Wicked Witch, the two must confront their friendship and the choices that will shape their futures.
Concession stand snacks will be available, along with possible themed treats. No registration is required.
