The North Fork Arts Center is proud to present ‘The Mystery of Things…’ by multidisciplinary artist Jim Farmer. Based in New York City, Farmer’s work spans playwriting, screenwriting, composing, and painting. His thought-provoking works have been produced and directed numerous times, with titles such as Frontier Halloween, Pistols and Stamens, The Savage Routine of Living, We Never Learn, Yonder Window Breaks, and more. In addition to his achievements in theater, Farmer has an extensive career as a composer for film and television. His scores have enriched feature films such as Johnny Suede, Living in Oblivion, Box of Moonlight, The Real Blonde, and Double Whammy. He has also composed for notable television commercials for brands such as The Gap and Citibank. Farmer is an accomplished painter with studios in both New York City and Connecticut.
