Oliver!

Riverhead Faculty and Community Theatre presents Oliver! The popular musical, based on the Charles Dickens classic, Oliver Twist, tells the story of an orphan who escapes a workhouse and falls in with a gang of pickpockets in London, featuring well-known songs like “Food, Glorious Food” and “Consider Yourself”.

Lionel Bart wrote the book, music and lyrics of Oliver!, which premiered in London in 1960 and on Broadway in 1963, It received a Tony Award for Best Original Score, and its 1968 film adaptation won six Academy Awards, including Best Picture. 

Oliver! will be performed over two weekends at the Charles Cardona Auditorium in Riverhead High School:

Saturday, Nov. 15 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 16 at 2 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 22 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 23 at 2 p.m.
