Corchaug Repertory Theatre is hosting auditions for its annual One-Act Festival on July 28. This unique event will showcase three original works written by local playwrights, providing a platform for unique theatrical expressions that may not typically be seen on Long Island. This year’s selections include “One Wish, Hold the Mayo” by Nicholas Auletti, “Disarming” by Peter Harrington, and “The Grind” by Bob Kaplan. The auditions will be held at the Riverhead Free Library from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Participants should be prepared to read sides and work with other local actors. All levels of acting experience are welcome. The performance dates for the festival are Sept. 13 and 14.
