Southold Historical Museum is hosting an online art exhibition and sale titled ‘Ten Squared: After the Peconic Bay Impressionists’, starting from Monday, July 15, until Aug. 31, 2024. The non-juried exhibition invites artists to submit up to three pieces of artwork, each measuring 10″ x 10″. All mediums are accepted. Each piece will be sold for $100, with half of the proceeds going to the Southold Historical Museum. This exhibition is a tribute to the early painters of the East End such as Irving Ramsay Wiles, Edith and Henry Prellwitz, Caroline M. Bell, Julia Wickham, Whitney M. Hubbard, and Otto Joseph Kurth. The exhibit will feature works from the 21st-century Peconic Bay Artists. This is a unique opportunity to purchase artwork by local artists and support the museum. Purchases can be made through the museum’s website.
