Pasta Night Fundraiser at Barrilla’s Pastaria Ristorante

Chef Marco Barilla is hosting an all-you-can-eat pasta night dinner to benefit Alexa Mastando and her family as they support her fighting cancer.

Alexa is fighting Acute Myeloid Leukemia at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City, where she will receive a bone marrow transplant. The benefit is to help support her and her fiancée, Mike, a police officer, to be able to keep their home and stay solvent through this time of medical and financial crisis; and for her family, who have taken unpaid leave from jobs to be there for her in person since she was diagnosed. Alexa has no paid leave from her job as a speech pathologist and needs help to be able to focus on beating cancer and still pay her bills.

“Let’s gather together for a grande famiglia Italian dinner and support our champion in her fight,” Chef Barilla says.

Monday, Dec. 4, 1023, 4 to 10 p.m. at Insatiable Eats/Barrilla’s Pastaria Ristorante, 300 East Main St., Riverhead. To-go orders also available on site.

Purchase tickets by Nov. 25.  Tickets: $45 per person.
