In honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month, Little Flower Children & Family Services is hosting a Pinwheel Planting Ceremony. The event will take place on Wednesday, April 30, starting at 12:30 p.m. and ending at 1:15 p.m. The pinwheel, a national symbol for child abuse prevention, represents the carefree childhood that every child deserves. This event is part of the nationwide ‘Pinwheels for Prevention’ movement, symbolizing our collective commitment to ensuring all children grow up happy, healthy, and safe from abuse. At the ceremony, pinwheels will be planted on the Wading River campus to raise awareness and show solidarity with children everywhere. The goal is to create a community where all children thrive. For more information or to become a pinwheel sponsor, please contact Andrea Borra. The event is free to attend and open to the public.
