Poetry Street at Riverhead Free Library

Poetry Street, the ‘room without a roof’ where every voice is heard, will take place on Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 2 to 4 p.m.at Riverhead Free Library. The event will be hosted by Chip Williford and Maggie Bloomfield and will feature Mindy Kronenberg, Lee Gil, and Lennon Stravato, followed by an open mic session. The event will also be available on Zoom.

Mindy Kronenberg is a widely published poet, writer, critic, and professor of writing and the arts at SUNY Empire State University. Lee Gil is a writer and activist based in the New Jersey/New York area, with expertise in poetry, film and television scripts, short stories, and novellas. Lennon Stravato is a poet, screenwriter, and Emmy-nominated producer of The Bay. He will be reading from his debut book, The Inner Dialect.
