Hallockville Museum Farm and the Old Mill Inn will host a two-part evening focused on the North Fork’s Prohibition-era history.
The program begins 4 to 5 p.m. at the historic Naugles Barn, where local historian Amy Folk will give a talk on rum-running and the region’s Prohibition past. A tasting and distilling demonstration by Twin Stills Distillery follows.
Guests will then continue to the Old Mill Inn in Mattituck 5:30 to 8 p.m. for a reception with passed period-inspired canapés, three Prohibition-era cocktails and live jazz music.
