Join the Riverhead community for the annual Christmas parade, bonfire and tree lighting on Saturday, Dec. 7.
The day will kick off with the Lions Club Christmas Parade at 1 p.m. Santa Claus will make a grand entrance by boat at 2:30 p.m. The highlight of the event, the tree lighting, will take place at 5:15 p.m., followed by the community bonfire on the riverfront. Kids can visit with Santa in his gingerbread house on the Peconic Riverfront, while visitors bask in the glow of the a holiday bonfire.
In case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled for Dec. 8.
