Riverhead Community Blood Drive

The Riverhead Community is hosting a blood drive on Friday, Dec. 5, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event, organized by the Riverhead Fire Department, will be held at 540 Roanoke Avenue, Westbury, in the second floor banquet room.

Donors are encouraged to prepare for donation by eating well and hydrating. They should bring a photo ID and must be symptom-free. Donors must be 17 years or older, or 16 with a parental consent form, and meet the minimum weight requirements.

In appreciation for their contribution, each participating donor will receive homemade baked goods and a coupon for a free scoop of ice cream from Snowflake.
