Riverhead Community Blood Drive Hosted by Fire Department

The Riverhead Fire Department is hosting a Community Blood Drive on Sept. 19, 2023. The drive will take place from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., and is open to all eligible donors. Here are the eligibility criteria:

– Sixteen-year-olds require parent’s permission
– Must have valid ID
– Drink plenty of fluid and eat a healthy meal
– No tattoos in the past 12 months

Appointments are greatly appreciated to help us keep up with COVID standards, though walk-ins are always welcome! To make an appointment, please contact Lauren Reichel. For medical eligibility, please call 1-800-688-0900. The event is free to attend and takes place at 540 Roanoke Ave.
