Riverhead Fire Department Open House

Saturday, Sept. 26, 1-4 p.m. at Riverhead Fire Department headquarters, 540 Roanoke Ave., Riverhead. The free family event will feature fire truck tours, live demonstrations, fire safety education, children’s activities, opportunities to meet local firefighters and emergency-service representatives, and free refreshments. Rain date: Sunday, Sept. 27.
