Ruthie Foster Live at The Suffolk

Grammy-winning songwriter, musician, and captivating singer Ruthie Foster is set to perform on Friday, Aug. 22 at 8 p.m. Raised in Gause, Texas, Foster’s musical journey is a blend of deep-rooted gospel heritage and a fearless pursuit of authenticity. She has earned five Grammy nominations and, in 2025, won her first Grammy for Mileage, released on Sun Records. This marked a historic win for both her and the legendary label. Her journey, marked by resilience, authenticity, and soul, continues to inspire and resonate with audiences worldwide. Tickets for the event range from $35 to $69.

In addition to Ruthie Foster, The Suffolk is hosting a series of other performances. Blues fans might also be interested in Albert Cummings on June 19, Joanne Shaw Taylor on Aug. 6, Texas Flood Premier Tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan on Aug. 7, and Matt Schofield on Aug. 24. Elisa Furr, a world-touring tribute to Celine Dion, will perform on Aug. 21. Tonight’s the Night, a tribute to Rod Stewart, will take the stage on Sept. 12. Other upcoming performances include Spread Eagle on June 6, Journeyman Tribute to Eric Clapton on June 7, Talking Dreads on June 13, Lotus Land American Rush Tribute on June 14, and Celebrating the North Fork Rites of Spring Music Festival on June 16.
