Selichot at Temple Israel of Riverhead with Rabbi David Altman

Temple Israel of Riverhead is hosting a Selichot event on Saturday, Sept. 9, starting at 8 p.m. The evening will feature speaker Rabbi David Altman, who will share insights from his seven-week trip to the Middle East this year. He will discuss how the experience has prepared him for a meaningful start to Rosh Hashanah. Rabbi Altman’s talk will also touch on his daughter’s diplomatic experiences, as she is set to become the deputy ambassador to Qatar next year. This event is free and open to the public.
