Sparkling Pointe Local Oyster Showcase

Get ready for an interactive tasting experience at the Sparkling Pointe Local Oyster Showcase. This event, organized by Sparkling Pointe Vineyards and Winery and sponsored by Preferred Events, is a walk-around tasting of Sparkling Pointe wines paired with a selection of Long Island’s finest oysters.

The event features six unique sparkling wine stations set beside displays of local oyster farmers and North Fork restaurants. Live shucking will showcase the oyster varieties in their raw form, while chefs prepare an array of freshly made mignonettes, fries, and toppings.

This year’s lineup includes great names like Great Gun Oysters, Founders Oysters, Peconic Golds, Oysterponds, Fire Island Blues, Violet Cove, and restaurants such as Claudio’s Restaurant, First & South, Frisky Oyster, Fyr & Salt, North Fork Shack, and A Lure Chowder House & Oysteria.

Tickets cost $100 per person, with a discounted price of $85 for Sparkling Pointe Wine Club Members. The ticket includes a walk-around tasting flight of six Sparkling Pointe wines paired with two dozen combinations of raw and prepared oysters. Additional sparkling wine by the glass, oysters, food, and merchandise will be sold separately.
