St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 30, 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
The East End Emerald Society’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade will take place on Saturday, March 30 in Jamesport.
The parade steps off at 1 p.m. on Main Road at Washington Avenue and proceeds east on Main Road to Manor Lane and draws participants from across the region.
The grand marshals of the year’s parade are Linda Simonsen and Leanne Simonsen, the mother and widow of fallen NYPD Detective Brian Simonsen, who was killed in the line of duty in February 2019. Simonsen was a native of Jamesport. Aides to the grand marshals this year are Tom and Mike Ferris.
