Start Making Sense & Ocean Stompers Horns Tribute at The Suffolk

The Suffolk Theater presents an evening of music with Start Making Sense & Ocean Stompers Horns on Friday, March 29 at 8 p.m. This event is a tribute to the music of Talking Heads, David Byrne, and more. Start Making Sense is a seven to 10-piece band that recreates the music of Talking Heads and David Byrne with precision. The band’s frontman, Jon Braun, delivers a performance reminiscent of David Byrne himself. The Ocean Ave Stompers Horns, a NOLA influenced brass band, will also be performing, bringing the sounds of Jersey Shore Rock n’ Roll, Philly Soul, and NYC’s finest. The event has received praise from Bernie Worrell, a member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and keyboardist for Talking Heads and Parliament / Funkadelic.
