Summer Reading Kickoff: Color Our World Along the Yellow Brick Road at Riverhead Free Library

The Riverhead Free Library is hosting the Summer Reading Kickoff: Color Our World Along the Yellow Brick Road on June 14, 2025. From 10 a.m. to noon, visitors can join in the adult reference department for an art station experience where they can try out new techniques or use various materials to create their own masterpiece. But that’s not all. The event also features a scavenger hunt with a prize at the end of the rainbow. Participants can enjoy some popcorn or cotton candy as they explore and search for the hidden treasure. This event is free to attend and is a fun-filled opportunity for the community to engage in creative activities and enjoy some treats.
