The Riverhead High School Blue Masques are set to perform the infamous tale of Sweeney Todd, an unjustly exiled barber who returns to 19th-century London seeking vengeance. The show runs from Nov. 1 to Nov. 3, with start times at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and an additional 1 p.m. show on Saturday. The Sunday show starts at 1 p.m.
Set in a failing pie shop, the road to revenge leads Todd to Mrs. Lovett, whose luck sharply shifts when Todd’s thirst for blood inspires a new ingredient for her meat pies. The people of London line up, and the carnage has only just begun!
The show is recommended for ages 12 and up due to mature content. Strobe lights will be used during the performance. The run time is approximately two and a half hours.
Tickets are priced at $15 for general admission and $5 for Riverhead students with ID. For more information, visit the Riverhead High School calendar on their website.
