Texas Flood: A Tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan at the Suffolk

Texas Flood, a Stevie Ray Vaughan tribute band led by guitarist Tommy Katona, performs at the Suffolk. The group is known for note-for-note recreations of Vaughan’s music, drawing from the Texas blues tradition.

Katona was born in Pécs, Hungary, and cites Vaughan as an early influence. He began performing at age nine and was recognized as a child prodigy before pursuing blues guitar in Texas. He later performed with Texas blues musicians and moved to Dallas in 2007, where he has continued performing, recording and teaching guitar.
