The AAECF Inc.’s 4th Annual Benefit Concert in the Park

The AAECF, Inc. is hosting its fourth annual ‘Benefit Concert in the Park’ on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Grangebel Park, located behind the Chase Bank in downtown Riverhead. This free-to-attend event promises a diverse musical extravaganza featuring top artists like ‘Deverne and the Vintage Soul Band’, and renowned vocalist ‘Mark MK’. A special tribute to blues icon, Sam ‘Bluzman’ Taylor will be performed by his talented recording artist family, Sandra and NiNi Taylor and grandson Lawrence ‘LAW’ Worrell, a seven-time Grammy nominee and Indie Music Award winner. A special appearance by rapper icon Parrish Smith of PMD, former member of EPMD & Hit Squad, is also on the cards.

The event will also showcase teenage sensations performing a fusion of Afrobeat, hip hop, gospel, and R&B. The Ross Boyz will perform their new hit single ‘Chit Chat’, alongside Latin & R&B singer Travi, rapper Sahn Dan, and the gospel rapper & poet Jawaan. Elder Melvin J Robinson Jr will be ministering in gospel song.

The concert will also feature a captivating performance by TwiinDaG’s NYC Street Dance Crew members, ‘Balance & Kahn’ and a Hair Fashion Show showcasing local entrepreneurs, led by celebrity NYC & LI stylist Tracey Collins and barber & entrepreneur Charlie Green.

There will be a ‘Kids Zone’, sponsored by Bright and Early ‘Discovery Learning Centers, where children can partake in activities, games, face painting, and more. A diverse range of food and craft vendors will be offering a variety of delicious ethnic cuisines, handmade crafts and informational booths.

This event is to benefit the AAECF YWT & YMT Transitional and Mentoring Programs. So, mark your calendars for a night of celebration and unity at the ‘Benefit Concert in the Park’.
