Learn more about how the Jewish community was established and developed in New York City on Sunday, Jan. 29 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Hallockville Museum Farm.
The seminar is based on the book “The Jews of Long Island 1705 to 1918” by Brad Kolodny. The book includes archival materials, census records, newspaper accounts and photos to further the stories provided. The reading will culminate with a hands-on food preparation class.
