The P.E.A.C.E. Project: exhibit and awards ceremony

The Riverhead Free Library will host the P.E.A.C.E. Project, a juried fine art photography exhibition and competition. The 2026 theme is “The Mind’s Eye,” focused on previsualizing an image before capturing it through the camera lens.

Photographers of all skill levels were invited to submit up to three images across six genres: landscape, nature and wildlife, people and portrait, black and white, abstract and manipulation, and man-made architecture. Works are selected through a blind jury process, with each photograph judged on the merits of the image.

An awards ceremony will recognize four winners: grand prize, first prize, second prize and third prize.
