The Players, formerly of Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire, at The Suffolk

The Suffolk is set to host The Players, a band composed of former members of Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire, on Saturday, April 19. The concert will begin at 8 p.m. The Players, featuring Keith Howland and Jeff Coffey, will perform a mix of classic Chicago hits, Earth Wind and Fire tunes, and a few choice favorites from the same era. The band also includes Doug Carter on keys/vocals, Antony Livoti on drums, and a three-piece horn section.

Keith Howland, the lead guitarist and occasional lead vocalist with Chicago for 27 years, and Jeff Coffey, bassist and tenor vocalist who became Chicago’s lead singer in 2016, are part of the legacy act. The Players aim to bring the songs and the energy just as they did as key members of the band.
