Twelfth Annual Rubber Duckie Race by Friends of The Big Duck

Join the Friends of The Big Duck for their twelfth annual Rubber Duckie Race on Saturday, Aug. 10. This family-friendly fundraiser is free to attend and supports the stewardship of Big Duck Ranch. The race starts at noon sharp on Reeves Bay, visible from the lawn of the Flanders Men’s Club, located just east of The Big Duck.

For a $5 donation, or five for $20, participants are assigned a number that corresponds to one of the rubber duckies launched into the bay. Prizes, including BigDuckabilia and gift certificates from local merchants, will be awarded for first, second, third and last place. Note that you do not need to be present to win.

In addition to the race, there will be games and giveaways for children, and a possible surprise guest! In case of rain, the event will be held on Aug. 11.
