Long Island Cares Veterans Project and the Southold American Legion Griswold-Terry-Glover Post 803 and its auxiliary will host a veterans resource fair and food distribution. More than 25 Long Island organizations are expected to participate, sharing services and programs for veterans and active military personnel.
Long Island Cares will distribute free fresh produce to veterans through its farm truck. A free brown bag lunch will be offered to the first 200 veterans in attendance.
The event is free and open to all veterans and active military personnel. Advance registration is requested by phone, but walk-ins are welcome.
