The Suffolk is set to host critically acclaimed rock ‘n’ roll singer-songwriter Willie Nile on Thursday, Aug. 15 at 8 p.m. The Buffalo native, who emerged from the New York City scene in the 1980s, is widely respected for his contributions to rock ‘n’ roll and has 14 studio albums to his name. Nile has received critical acclaim for decades from respected sources such as Rolling Stone, The New York Times, BBC Radio, The London Times, USA Today, and more. He has also been praised by fellow musicians like Bono, Bruce Springsteen, Pete Townshend, Lou Reed, Lucinda Williams, and others. Currently, Nile is touring North America with a career retrospective show, making a stop at The Suffolk, leading up to his newest release of a “Best Of” compilation this spring.
