Join the Sierra Club’s Long Island Group for an afternoon of wine tasting and education at the Farrm Vineyard. The event, which serves as a fundraiser for the local division of the national environmental organization, is scheduled for Sept. 27, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Participants will have the opportunity to taste organic wines while the owner of the vineyard talks about the process of growing grapes organically and making wine. If the weather permits, attendees will also enjoy a short walk in the vineyard.
The $75 per person admission fee includes a charcuterie spread featuring crackers, cheeses, meats, and condiments. Light music will be played in the background to enhance the ambiance.
The Long Island Group of the Sierra Club is an all-volunteer entity that provides free hiking and kayaking events open to the public, as well as at least 12 indoor education events each year. The group works at the local, state, and national levels to protect the natural environment.
Please note that this event is not free to attend. Tickets can be purchased on the Sierra Club’s website.
