The Butterfly Effect Project will hold its annual Wo/Men Empower Wo/Men Luncheon on Saturday, May 9, at Rock Hill Country Club in Manorville.
The organization, which serves girls and boys ages 5 to 18, supports youth through programs that include college tours, job readiness training, summer camps, leadership experiences, and school-based and evening community chapters. Its work is guided by four pillars: healthy relationships, self and community care, critical thinking, and confidence building.
The luncheon will recognize community members for their contributions while raising support for the organization’s youth programs. Sponsorship information is available on the event website.
