“Women Artists of Long Island” exhibit hosted at William Ris Gallery

The exhibit “Women Artists of Long Island” will be held at the William Ris Gallery in Jamesport from Saturday, June 11 through Sunday, July 10 with the opening reception to be held on Saturday, June 11 from 4 to 7 p.m. The exhibit will feature Long Island artists Janet Culbertson, Grainne deBuitlear, Anna Jurinich and Ty Stroudsburg. The work of these artists feature a range of mediums and styles. The exhibit’s artists will gather to hold an artist talk on Saturday, June 25 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the gallery. The work of each artist has been inspired by their histories of travel — Jurinich is from Croatia, deBuilear from Ireland and Culbertson and Stroudsburg have traveled internationally.
