In honor of Women’s History Month, the Heart of Riverhead Civic Association invites women of all ages to the Riverhead Library on Saturday, March 8 at 1 p.m. for a unique gathering. The event, titled ‘What’s Your Superpower?’, is a celebration of inner strengths and the unique talents that make us who we are.
Participants are encouraged to share their personal superpowers, whether it’s imagination, culinary skills, the ability to make people comfortable, writing poetry, creating art, organizing stuff or people, persuading a surly two-year-old to eat their sandwich, or simply saying ‘no’ or ‘yes’.
The event will also explore how these skills were discovered. Was it handed down from a teacher or a grandmother, was it a light-bulb moment, or did you set out to master it?
If you don’t know your superpower, listening to others may help you recognize your own special talent. This is a fun and fascinating gathering that promises to be enlightening and empowering.
All ages are welcome to enjoy this free event. For more information, contact Cindy Clifford at (631) 727-3090.
