Come down and explore a large display of heavy duty trucks and equipment used by the Riverhead Highway Department to maintain local roads.
Riverhead residents can safely dispose of household hazardous wastes and unwanted prescription medications free of charge at the town’s semi-annual STOP (Stop Throwing Out Pollutants) Day Saturday, Oct. 26, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Riverhead Highway Department facility on Osborn Avenue.
Riverhead Highway Superintendent Mike Zaleski invites children and their parents to the Riverhead Highway Department Headquarters on Saturday, June 15 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to see a large display of heavy duty trucks and equipment used by the town highway department and learn about how highway crews use the trucks to maintain our roads.
The Town of Riverhead's annual spring STOP Day will take place on Saturday, May 4 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Riverhead Town Highway Department headquarters, 1177 Osborn Avenue, Riverhead.
Riverhead Town will hold its semi-annual STOP Day, providing residents with an opportunity to safely dispose of household hazardous wastes at no charge.
