Hallockville Museum Farm, a preserved 28-acre North Fork farm homestead, is hosting a Barn-Raising Supper on Thursday, Aug. 22. This rustically elegant farm-to-table supper will take place from 6 to 9 p.m., aiming to raise funds for the restoration and improvements of the historic Naugles Barn.
The Barn-Raising Supper menu, which reflects the farm’s tradition of calling the evening meal ‘supper’, will feature hyper-local foods, including honey from the farm’s 18-hive apiary. The supper will be served under a tent, allowing guests to enjoy the fresh North Fork farm air.
The evening will also include:
– A gorgeous skyline view sunset
– Live music performed by Frank Palmeri
– An exhibit and sale of works by local artists
– A theatrical skit about North Fork rum-running performed by North Fork Community Theatre actors
Individual tickets are priced at $195 for Hallockville members and $225 for nonmembers.
