The Mattituck-Laurel Library is offering a beginner’s crochet class starting on Nov. 5, 2024, and continuing on subsequent Tuesdays until Dec. 10, 2024. The class, led by crochet instructor Alice Jones, will teach participants basic crochet stitches. By the end of the six sessions, attendees will have acquired the skills to complete a crocheted hat or scarf, just in time for the holiday season.
The class is perfect for gift-giving or for personal use during the chilly winter months. Participants are required to bring a crochet hook (any size between six and nine) and one skein of light-colored yarn. All registrants will be automatically enrolled in all six classes. The class is free to attend and will run from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. To register, visit the Mattituck-Laurel Library website.
