Breastfeeding: The Key to a Strong Start in Life – Virtual Event by Mattituck-Laurel Library

The Mattituck-Laurel Library is hosting a virtual event titled ‘Breastfeeding: The Key to a Strong Start in Life’ on Zoom. The event is in honor of National Breastfeeding Month and will be taking place on Aug. 15, from noon to 1 p.m. Aimee Liguori, Stony Brook Southampton Hospital’s board-certified lactation consultant, will be discussing how breastfeeding helps build your baby’s immune system and offers ideal nutrition. She will also be reviewing routine concerns and how to handle them effectively to make the breastfeeding experience a rewarding one for both baby and mom. The event is free to attend and registration can be done at the Mattituck-Laurel Library website.
