Join the Mattituck-Laurel Library for a unique learning experience on Aug. 16. The library will be hosting a workshop on how to make your own elderberry syrup. Elderberries are known for their healing properties, boasting anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits.
The workshop will teach participants how to create their own syrup using dried elderberries, honey, cinnamon, and essential oils. Not only will you learn about the process, but you’ll also get to take home a sample of elderberry syrup and a recipe to recreate it at your convenience.
The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. It’s free to attend, but registration is required. You can register on the Mattituck-Laurel Library’s website.
