Mattituck photographer Jean Schweibish presents a participatory photography exhibit featuring images inspired by pareidolia, with faces that appear on rocks and driftwood found on North Fork beaches along the Long Island Sound.
Visitors are invited to view the photographs and help name the faces. Cards will be available in the gallery for children and adults to write down name ideas. The selected image names and the people who suggested them will be announced at a reception later in the month; the date has not yet been announced.
The exhibit is on view through June 30 during library hours.
