Family Turkey Trot starting at the George Young Community Center in Jamesport

Enjoy a one-mile family turkey trot from the George Young Community Center in Jamesport to Miamogue Point Park in Riverhead on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 9 to 11 a.m.

The first 50 registrants will receive a commemorative t-shirt. Refreshments will be served after the run. Dress for a mess as spectators will throw color chalk on participants.

The event cost $12 for residents and $18 for non-residents.
