Historic cook Diane Schwindt from Ketcham Inn Foundation Museum will be delivering a lecture titled “An Historic Timeline of Food” as part of the Southold Historical Museum’s free winter series. The lecture will take place on Saturday, March 9, from 11 a.m. to noon at the Southold Town Recreation Center.
During the lecture, Diane Schwindt will guide the audience through the evolution of food, explaining the advancements and improvements that have been made over time. She will also demonstrate the use of some of the tools that have been used throughout the progression.
The winter lecture series, titled “Farm to Table: A Not So New Concept” is free and open to the public. The next lecture in the series will be held on April 8, featuring Chef Tom Schaudel.
