Richard Kurin, Smithsonian Distinguished Scholar and Ambassador-at-Large, presents a reading and discussion of his new book, “History by a Hair,” at the North Fork Arts Center. The program includes an onstage conversation with descendants featured in the book, followed by a book signing with copies available for purchase from Burton’s Books.
The Suffolk hosts “Whiskey and War Stories,” featuring a guided tasting of three Horse Soldier Bourbon blends and a live Q&A with retired Special Operations soldier Bob Pennington. Proceeds benefit the Warrior Ranch Foundation, and each guest will receive an autographed bottle.
