Independence Day celebration in Jamesport

Celebrate Independence Day with the Greater Jamesport Civic Association at their annual July 4 Commemoration. This event, the only official Independence Day commemoration in Riverhead, will take place at 10 a.m. at the Jamesport Honor Garden. Here’s what you can look forward to:

– Inspirational speeches from members of the U.S. military, area elected officials, and the Riverhead town historian.
– Patriotic music to set the mood.
– Color guards from VFW and NJROTC.

The Jamesport Fire Department will provide a tent and chairs for attendees. The event will go on rain or shine. So, mark your calendars and come join us in celebrating America’s independence.
