Leprechaun Fun-Run in South Jamesport

It’s never too early to plan for St. Patrick’s Day. The Riverhead Recreation Department will host its Leprechaun Fun-Run on Saturday, March 15.

Run, walk, or jig the one-mile course from Miamogue Point to the George Young Community Center. This is a family friendly event, dogs and strollers  are welcome. The run starts 9 a.m.

Registration is $15. Check-in and onsite registration (cash only) begins at 8:30 at Miamogue Park.  Early registration is encouraged. Register online here. The first 50 registrants receive a t-shirt. 

Enjoy a light breakfast after the run at the community center.
