Literacy Suffolk Adult Tutor Training at Riverhead Free Library

Riverhead Free Library is hosting a Literacy Suffolk Adult Tutor Training program. The training is designed to equip volunteers with skills to help adults improve their English speaking, reading, and writing abilities.

The training will be conducted over three in-person sessions on the following dates:

– Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
– Monday, March 3, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
– Wednesday, March 5, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Volunteers must be over 18 years of age, a high school graduate, and able to volunteer at least two hours a week for a year. The tutoring sessions between tutors and students will take place at the Riverhead Free Library at a time that is convenient for both.
