Love is in the Air: on Zoom with Mattituck-Laurel Library

Join the Mattituck-Laurel Library for a unique virtual event, ‘Love is in the Air — on Zoom’, on Feb. 8 at 7 p.m. This event takes attendees on a worldwide trip to explore the surprising romance in the bird world. Participants will learn about:

– Flashy outfits sported by various bird species
– The ‘wining & dining’ habits of birds
– Dance rituals, including the ‘cha-cha-cha’
– Intricate nest-building techniques

The event promises to amaze with birds’ fascinating behaviors, surprising courtship rituals, and tokens of affection that bond avian partners together. This program is co-sponsored by North Shore Public Library and Southold Free Library and hosted by North Shore Public Library. Registration is required and can be done online.
